A mobile IT cart — also called a computer cart or workstation on wheels — is a height-adjustable workstation on castors that carries a monitor or all-in-one PC, keyboard, scanner and optionally a battery power supply. It brings IT to where the work happens: at the bedside, at the machine or at the shelf.

Hospitals and care providers have used lean carts for more than 25 years. The same carts work in manufacturing, warehouse and logistics, laboratories, retail and hospitality, education and the public sector.

The lean LFP power supply has 720 Wh and powers a typical cart for more than 12 hours; a full charge takes under 3 hours. Runtime depends on the connected devices. The LiFePO4 batteries withstand up to 5,000 charging cycles.

Yes. We convert a prototype in our workshop, you test it, and we retrofit the remaining carts at your site at a fixed price. The carts need at least two conductive castors.

An optional 5-year warranty is available for the carts; wall lifts and support arms come with a 5-year warranty. For maintenance and repair we provide spare parts and repair kits and come on site when needed.

Yes. Surfaces are easy to clean and disinfect, input devices are disinfectable, many models are fanless and SilentCarts have an antimicrobial coating. Wall lifts and support arms are certified to IEC 60601-1.

Yes. Carts, wall workstations, IT hardware and power supplies can be leased instead of bought — including the IT that is installed on the cart. We prepare the offer together with our leasing partners; term and instalments depend on the configuration and the number of carts. Ask for it with your quote request.
